The wildlife park is the heart of the Völlinghausen Nature Experience Area, which also includes a forest bee station, an orchard meadow with a new insect hotel, a dendrarium, and a landscape of pollarded willows. The individual stations are perfect for exploring on a leisurely walk.
The Wildlife Park Visitor Center is open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the wildlife park itself is open year-round and free of charge.
