Was it an ancient, pagan place of worship, a baptistery from Carolingian times or is it a replica of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem?

The Drüggelt Chapel is still a mystery. Surrounded by farm buildings, a barn and a bakehouse, the chapel is situated on a hill near Delecke. Its roots are said to date back to the eighth century. The unusual, dodecagonal central building with its 16 pillars and the mysterious ornaments are a constant source of speculation.
