The parking space in Völlinghausen (Zum Wildpark 3b, 59519 Möhnesee) is idyllically located directly at the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park, surrounded by trees and directly at the Völlinghausen Wildlife Park and many beautiful hiking trails.

Advance reservations are not possible.

Barbecues and open fires are permitted recreational regulations of the Ruhrverband.

Arrival:

Driving onto the site in a car or a car with a caravan is not permitted.

Situation regarding motorcycles, scooters and trailers:

Small motorcycles brought in or on the motorhome, for which only a motor vehicle insurance sticker is required, may be taken onto the pitch.

The following regulations apply to other mopeds, motorcycles, small cars, etc. transported on or in the motorhome that require a license plate:
- Pre-registration stating the license plate number and length of stay (womo-voellinghausen@moehnesee.de or 02924 981-391)
- Storage of the vehicles in the motorhome or attached to the motorhome (parking on the pitch is not permitted)


Vehicles that are not motorhomes must be parked in the parking lot in Möhnesee-Völlinghausen in front of the "Möhnehof Sämer" restaurant for a fee. The ticket can then be paid by cell phone via the mobilet app. This procedure is in the interest of all motorhome owners who are looking for peace and quiet on the parking lot.

The municipality of Möhnesee has been levying an accommodation tax of 2.5% on the overnight price since 01.01.2024. Our hotel is obliged to collect the tax and pay it to the municipality of Möhnesee.

Payment is made via a parking machine and is possible with coins, credit card and EC card.
ATTENTION: The machine does not change!!!

The license plate number of your vehicle is recorded by a camera when you enter and exit the car park. This allows the exact length of stay to be determined and compared with the amount paid. Here you will find the information on data protection.

Tip: Carry coins with you just in case or download the Mobilet app at home in advance for booking by cell phone (you can also use this for parking and storing your bike at the dam).

Attention - No winter service! The site is closed in snow and ice. If in doubt, please call us in advance.

Frequently asked questions about the motorhome site

Can I reserve a parking space?
No, reservations are not possible at the Delecke Nordufer motorhome site.
How big can my motorhome be?
There is no official size restriction for the parking space. For vehicles over 7 m in length, we recommend parking on the upper "steps" if possible; there are no maneuvering options on the lower steps.
When do I have to pay?
In principle, it is irrelevant whether payment is made in advance directly after entering the parking space or retroactively before leaving the parking space.
The basis for the length of stay paid for is not the time on the parking ticket, but the actual time of entry to the parking space.
For example, if you enter the parking space at 10 a.m., you can pay the tariff for 24 hours at any time and must leave the parking space at 10 a.m. the following day.
How do I pay at the machine for several days?
To pay for several days at once, there is a little trick. You enter all the data (license plate number, select motorhome, €28 for 1 day) and then hold your EC card or cell phone up to it to pay. Only then does a new screen appear on which you can select the number of days using the + or - buttons.
When will my length of stay be calculated?
The basis is always the actual entry time and not the time on the parking ticket.
What do I do with the parking ticket?
The parking ticket does not need to be displayed. The camera system automatically compares the parking time for your license plate with the amount paid for your license plate. The parking ticket is not required. Important: The paid parking time applies from the time of entry, not from the time on the parking ticket.
The machine won't print out my parking ticket, what can I do?
As long as you were able to complete the booking process, the parking ticket is not important.
What happens if I have driven onto the pitch and there is no more free parking space?
It is easy to see from the road whether the site is busy. If this is the case, we recommend that you first park your motorhome on the parking strip on Linkstraße and look for a free parking space on foot.
If you have already driven onto the site and there is no free parking space, leave the site as soon as possible and contact us by telephone on 02924 / 981 391 or by e-mail at info@moehnesee.de.
I have entered a wrong number / wrong license plate number at the parking machine, what should I do?
Send us a short email to info@moehnesee.de with the correct license plate number and the period you spent on the pitch. As long as you have paid for the duration of your stay, everything is taken care of and we will correct the license plate number.
Can I use the space for disposal only?
Yes, there is a separate disposal fee of €5. You can use the disposal station on the pitch for half an hour, after which you must leave the pitch again.
Am I allowed to barbecue on the pitch?
Barbecues and open fires are not permitted on the banks and shorelines of the Möhnesee in accordance with the Ruhrverband's recreational regulations.
Can I take my dog with me?
Dogs are allowed on the motorhome site as long as they are kept on a lead.
Can I take my bike with me?
Bicycles are of course allowed and are perfect for getting to the nearest supermarket or exploring the lake.
Can I drive on the pitch with a mini camper?
Unfortunately, the automatic camera detection is often unable to distinguish between motorhomes and cars. If you would like to visit our campsite, please call us on 02924 / 981 391 before you arrive so that we can discuss how to proceed.
